Real wood. No stain. Made by hand.
Every bag is made with real hardwood: walnut, maple, cherry, cedar, or sapele. We laser-cut each design, shape the flexible wooden body by hand, line it with soft eco-leather, and finish it with gold-tone hardware. The color you see is the wood itself, so every bag carries its own grain.

Meet the makers
A family run business, and it shows
Salt City Workshop is just us: a mom, a dad, and three kids in Utah who love turning plain sheets of wood into something special. We design, cut, sand, assemble, and pack every order ourselves, usually with a little help (and a lot of commentary) from the kids.
Our crew takes their jobs very seriously. There is an official rattle tester (the littlest one never misses a shift), a sawdust inspector, and a head of the “can I keep this one?” department. So when your order shows up at your door, know it was made with care by a real family, not a factory.
